Mission statement
At Look Up Academy, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing and individualized learning environment that empowers every child to thrive — academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe in customizing education for each learner’s unique strengths, needs, and pace — with therapeutic support embedded throughout the school day.
What Makes Look Up Academy Different?
Look Up Academy is a K–2 microschool designed for families seeking a high-quality, inclusive learning option with built-in behavioral and developmental support.
✏️ Small Class Sizes
We intentionally keep our classes between 5–6 students to ensure each child receives the attention and instruction they deserve. Our educators build deep relationships with each student and can adapt lessons to match individual learning styles and goals.
🧠 Therapy Embedded Into the School Day
As a program developed in partnership with Look Up Therapy and Carlyle Therapy, we integrate:
Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA)
Speech & Language Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT)
👩🏽🏫 Experienced Educators Trained in ESE Classrooms
Our team includes certified teacher with years of experience in exceptional student education (ESE), early childhood development, and inclusive classrooms. We prioritize staff who are not only trained — but passionate about working with children who learn differently.
❤️ Inclusive Support for All Learners
We proudly welcome both neurodivergent children and neurotypical peers. Students who need additional support may receive 1:1 assistance from a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), while all children benefit from structured social learning, sensory-informed routines, and trauma-aware care.
