High-Impact Small Group Instruction
With a student-to-teacher ratio of 5:1 or 6:1, students benefit from increased teacher responsiveness, peer interaction, and focused academic support.
Whole-Child, Active Learning Approach
Daily routines include morning meetings, collaborative project-based learning, and outdoor exploration, promoting executive functioning, social skills, and physical development.
Integrated Therapeutic Support – Tailored for Student Success
At Look Up Academy, therapeutic services are woven into the school day to promote whole-child development. If needed, students can receive support from licensed therapists throughout the day. Eligible families using the FES-UA scholarship may have these services covered.
ABA Therapy
Evidence-based strategies delivered in both classroom and clinical settings to build executive functioning, communication, self-regulation, and positive behavior skills.
Speech & Language Therapy
Targeted support for receptive and expressive language, articulation, pragmatic language, and augmentative communication — empowering students to engage meaningfully in learning and relationships.
Occupational Therapy (OT)
Developmental support for fine motor coordination, sensory integration, handwriting, visual-motor tasks, and adaptive skills needed for daily classroom participation.
Collaborative Approach
Licensed therapists and educators meet weekly to align therapy goals with instructional outcomes, ensuring continuity of care and maximizing each student's individual learning plan-aligned progress across all learning environments.
Whole-Child Enrichment & Life Skills Development
At Look Up Academy, we nurture the whole child through intentionally designed enrichment experiences that foster independence, creativity, and real-world readiness. These opportunities allow each child to explore and go beyond academics to build confidence, community connection, and everyday competence.
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) & Mindfulness
Structured group experiences that strengthen emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and self-regulation—essential for lifelong learning and social success.
Creative Arts & Movement Integration
